Policy & Procedures


The mission of the Woodmen Community Center is to provide self-sustaining, safe, accessible facilities and programs for the community by enhancing quality of life through affordable involvement in recreation, civic, cultural, educational, health, wellness, and family life activities.

In order to accomplish this, the Center has outlined appropriate policies and procedures to help create a safe and useful facility for all persons.

Please note that management reserves the right to review, change and establish rules, policies and procedures as deemed necessary.
  1. Activity Participation & Registration

    Learn about participating in Woodmen Community Center programming and activities.

  2. Admittance & Facility Usage

    The Woodmen Community Center (WCC), which includes the Lions Water Adventure waterpark, does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, religion, income, ability, or ethnic origin.

  3. Cell Phones, Electronics & Photography

    Cell phones are to be silenced or put on vibrate mode in all workout and program areas.

  4. Children

    Learn about children and youth participating in the facility.

  5. Discounted Rates

    Learn about who may be able to receive discounted rates.

  6. Hours

    Learn about the facility hours and holiday closings.

  7. Inclement Weather Policy

    The Kinston-Lenoir County Parks and Recreation Department and the Woodmen Community Center reserve the right to cancel or delay programs and services due to inclement weather.

  8. Lost & Found

    All items turned in to lost and found at Membership Services will be held for two weeks, then either discarded or given to a charitable organization.

  9. Membership

    Learn about membership to the Woodmen Community Center including fees, policies and what comes with a membership card.
